Shimmer runs on a ladder of plans. Each step up unlocks more of the agent's proactive work and a higher weekly query allowance. Pricing is shown at checkout.
Everyone starts on trial
Shimmer is invite-only. Once you are admitted from the waitlist, you start on the trial plan: ask your agent anything, up to 20 queries a week. It is enough to feel how grounded answers and the approval flow work before you commit. Upgrading is one tap from Settings, and your agent can walk you through it.
The ladder
Three plans. If you want more capacity on any plan, you buy more capacity; the plans differ by what your agent does, not by how much you can ask it.

Every plan can add more weekly budget when you need it; your agent tells you when you are close to the cap and how to raise it.
Each plan includes everything below it. Sovereign is for people who want the whole machine to themselves: every capability, no query cap, and a dedicated box that is yours alone.
How models are chosen
You never pick a model. Shimmer routes each task to the right one automatically, within your plan:
- Quick tasks (a fast answer, a classification, a short summary) run on fast models, so the everyday feel is instant.
- Deep work (briefs, research, careful writing) runs on frontier models, where quality matters more than speed.
Higher plans unlock stronger frontier models, so the same "hand off a research question" gets a deeper thinker behind it on Pro than on Basic. The routing is per task, not per session: one conversation can use both.
Changing plans
Upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings. Your agent, its memory, and your connected sources carry over unchanged; only the capability set and allowance move.
